The moment I tore off the plastic, I was taken back into the 90s and beg of the millennium—the best years ever. The blue color is precisely right, not too luminous as some contemporary sets. The product quality was more than my expectation; the seam is perfect and the textile is soft like premium but light. I have attended three matches wearing it and I have got uncountable praises. For the people who have a clear picture in their minds of players like Deco, Costinha, etc., and that night magic in Europe, this jersey will soothe your heart. A hundred percent worth!

If the jersey is not perfect, I will not take it. That is why I am very strict with the quality and the original design. Nonetheless, this FC Porto jersey utterly amazed me. The fabric has the right weight—not too light or thin like cheap imitations. The sizing is exact and the athletic cut looks good without being too snug. You can see the craftsmanship in the collar design and the slight texture in the blue fabric is also a tribute to the artisan’s skill. I have washed it four times already, and it still looks as good as new. I really can’t determine the quality difference between this and official merchandise.

Let’s face it—buying the official jersey can cost an arm and a leg, especially when you consider the international shipping charges. This memorable piece gives you almost the same experience but for only a small fraction of the price. The material quality is excellent, the colors are bright and true to life, and the whole construction is strong. I like it that it acknowledges Porto’s classic design language instead of just picking up a specific season’s kit. It feels different and special. Took it to a Portuguese eatery in Newark, and I had three different persons come up to me and discuss Porto’s past. The jersey really helps build connections.
