Design Heritage & Classic Elements
Paying tribute to the Dortmund golden era of the 90s when the club got the trophy back from Europe and took the people’s hearts all over the land. The design directly draws upon the greatest moment in club history for inspiration: the famous 1997 Champions League-winning kit, which had impressed the world with its dominant black base studded with thick yellow accents. The sides beautifully show off the classic leg stripes, a kiss on the cheek to those immortalized jerseys gracing the Westfalenstadion in moments of victory for BVB.
Notable Points
- Retro meets Modern: Created with contemporary athleticism in mind, this look carves out a chic silhouette while keeping the original styles alive.
- Premium Fabrics: A polyester-infused blend provides coolness with moisture-wicking properties, making certain that you stay comfortable, whether you are sitting at Signal Iduna Park or hanging with friends in the park.
- Authentic Color Palette: They are designed in deep black (#000000) and Dortmund yellow (#FDE100)-one can even picture the BVB identity locking itself into such a dark and radiant hue.
- Classic Striping: This Triple-striped sequence that ran down the flanks in a brilliant yellow gives the former kits, which symbolize the period when the club was at the peak in the world of football.
Comfortable Fit:
Professionally traditional, they have an elasticated waistband, with a further drawstring attached to enable an adjustable fit to any activity one takes up.
Functional Pockets:
Pocket arrangement will never cease to be a welcome addition. The side pockets stay practically open, enabling the storage of essential items, yet they are so unseen that they do not destroy the flattering line of the pants.
Embroidered Details:
If its embroidery embellishment is what one wants, that can be supplied. This is not a cheap embroidery. Which means its excellency would survive despite mild to moderate usage.

“When it comes to a football kit collector that has over 200 kits, I am extremely finicky when it comes to quality and the authenticity of design. These shorts definitely have exceeded my expectations. The weight of the fabric is perfect—it feels robust enough to make you feel it is of a premium grade but breathable enough to be comfy while wearing. Someone did a great job on these to give them a classic ’90s look that doesn’t come off like a cheap remake. The stitching is excellent and still looks brand new after a few washes. Whether as a collector, or just a super fan, this piece is a must-have.”

My Son Wears Them Everywhere!
“They were given as a present to my 14-year-old son right after he turned mad about Borussia Dortmund after watching the Bellingham showcases. He does not want to take them off at all! The quality is great – they have survived quite a few washes and still look perfectly good. For his workouts, for school (on those days), and at times for sleeping, he rocks them. As a parent, one appreciates the fact that they are robust and very well sewn. The design is really good, connecting him to a rich history of club football, which I like very much. Value for his money!”

Takes Me Back to 1997
“We are planning to bring back all sportswear, especially the limited-edition fanwear items,” explains Borussia Dortmund CEO, Carsten Cramer. I was there, in the Olympiastadion, pouring sweat when we won the Champions League in 1997. Stepping on top of the wall and seeing Ricken’s goal sinking in. Afterward, it was a vast relief. These shorts have brought all these feelings back to me. The design really takes me back to those years, and as a proud owner of an original one from that season, I can assure you they got all the details right. The yellow is the same hue I remember.”
