Reminiscing of the Golden Times
As somebody who has followed Las Águilas throughout the ’80s, this jersey was an instant pang of nostalgia. The design elements really referenced classic equipment that I do recall seeing being used at the Azteca. Yes, this isn’t official, but the consideration for these heritage items showed a good understanding of what makes Club América special. It’s now my go-to every time I watch a match with friends. The quality shocked me; it’s almost too good for the price point.

Extremely Comfortable for All-Day Use
The jersey is in a rotation of mine worn religiously at least twice a week- going to the gym, running errands, watching sports. It is absolutely comfortable in a way ‘functional football jersey’ implies. The fabric of the shirt breathes very well, and it feels anything but heavy or restrictive. I am 5’10” tall, 180 pounds; I bought a Large, and it fits just right. And with multiple washes, the material has held up more than great. For a memorabilia piece, I am super impressed that this could even be functional activewear.

Great Addition to My Collection
I collect soccer jerseys from all clubs and national teams around the world, and this Club America away kit has now earned a spot on the wall with pride. The pull-over retro-inspired design is what attracted me to the jersey, as essentially most kits tend to turn into the standard replica kits. Quite a pet peeve of mine actually. The construction is solid. I love good craftsmanship on an unofficial item. The colors are vibrant, clean stitching. The crest stands out. Very good conversation starter when collectors drop by.
